Africa: Mobile Banking is Key
Mobile banking is not only convenient, it will also make financial transactions available to people from developing countries. Experts see that the key to Africa's growth is their banks to offer mobile banking services.
According to the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), most countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, more people have mobile phones than bank accounts. Banks can take advantage of the situation and invest in mobile banking.
Mobile banking will allow users to do simple banking transactions with their mobile devices like checking of balances, transferring funds, and paying for bills. Compared to online banking, this service does not require a computer and an Internet connection to do transactions. For more information regarding this article, read how to choose a bank.
